The Eiffel Tower Climb

Steve Silva has set 5 world records for marathon stair climbing. 2012 was the 25th anniversary of Steve's tavel to Paris, France to climb the Eiffel Tower for his Outdoor Vertical Mile Record attempt at the Eiffel Tower. This event was publicized internationally and was attended by representatives of Guiness World Records, US Marines from the Embassy, News outlets, and the Mayor of Paris.

this is Steve at the finish line on the Eiffel Tower with the US Marine guards and his wife to greet him. He climbed 7 1/2 times up and down but missed the record by a mere 90 seconds.
